Bible teaching should be the heart beat of every church.
We encourage everyone to seek the face of the Lord Jesus through prayer, fasting, reading and studying the holy word of God. It will give you

life.

How to study the Bible.

A. THE BIBLE CONSISTS OF FIVE MAIN TYPES OF WRITTEN FORM

1) Narrative - Tells a story, gives an account of history. Most (75%) of the Bible is narrative or "story form." The first five books of the Bible from Genesis to Deuteronomy called the Pentateuch are "Narrative" style books. All the Gospels and the Book of Acts are also in "Narrative" style. Joshua through Esther are more in the history style of "narrative."

2) Epistles - Letters of doctrine, theology, or precepts for Christian living. All the apostles’ letters to churches fall into this category.

3) Parables - - Examples from everyday life to teach principles. Proverbs

4) Poetry - Expressing truth with human emotion and feeling. Psalms, The Song of Solomon

5) Prophesy - Predicting the future or warning of possible judgment for sin. Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah, and Revelation
